KLog's TODO

KLog needs some things to be done but I do not have the time or the skills to do it properly. If you feel you can contribute, please do it and improve KLog!

These are the main things to be done:

• BUG: There is a bug affecting to hamlib that causes a crash if hamlib is activated and enter the setup dialog. A workaround is to put hamlib=false in the ~/.klog/klogrc file.
• Generate award files: KLog uses a file format to manage awards. Download the award files, make new awards for KLog and send them to me to offer them to other users.
• Write the documentation: KLog does not have a well written documentation. You can find here a template that you can modify and send back to me. Basically it is a docbook file written in English.
  (If you think you can not produce docbook, you could also write the documentation in other format and I will manage to get it converted to docbook).
• Translate KLog into your language: If you find that KLog is not into your language, you can help translating it!. You can find here the POT file to be translated.
• Translate the Website into your language: If you can translate the website into your language, please do it and KLog will be accesible for more users.
• Generate screenshots: You can send me screenshots showing KLog doing things that may show interesting things about KLog and I will show them in the webpage for future users.
• Create an icon for KLog: As I am not a good graphic designer KLog does not have a good icon. Maybe you can send me an icon for KLog.
• Bug report: Reporting the bugs you find is always a good way to help KLog development. Report ALL the bugs or improvements you can find.
• Contribute with code: If you can code QT/C++ you can send me code that I will evaluate and include into KLog. You can send me new fuctionalities, patches, ...
• Improve the website: If you know how to improve the website, please send me your suggestions.
• Manage the mailing list: Do you know how to admin a mailing list? You can be the admin of the KLog's mailing list.
• Promote KLog: You can link the KLog's page from your website, you can make review on eHam.
• Mirror de KLog's page: If you have a website you may mirror this site. If you choose to mirror the KLog's page tell it to me and I will link your mirror.
